The Adventure Club, in cooperation with the Erasmus+ Club, is organising a trip for all classes to Caledonian Falls. The outing includes a scenic 3km walk along the Caledonia Nature Trail, followed by a barbeque. Students will prepare the barbeque themselves under the supervision of the accompanying teachers.
Programme:
8:30 am – Meet at The Grammar School
8:45 am – Bus departs for Caledonian Falls
10:00 am – Arrive at Platres
10:10am – 12:10 – Walk along nature trail to Caledonia Falls.
12:30am – Gather at Platania Picnic Area for Barbeque
3:30pm – Bus Departs for Nicosia
4:10pm (approximate time) – Bus arrives at The Grammar School
Suggestions for Clothes + Barbeque
· Comfortable trousers + a cardigan, jumper or jacket + suitable walking shoes.
· It is advisable to take a snack and a small bottle of water on the walk plus some Kleenex tissues.
· You might also need an extra pair of socks because we will be crossing streams.

For the Barbeque:
In good weather conditions you will be able to cook your own souvlaki.
Suggestion for organizing yourselves:
To barbeque (i.e. souvlakia or sheftalia and any other accompanying food such as halloumi, sausages etc.) follow the instructions below:
· Organise yourselves in a team.
· Bring a barbeque stove, charcoal, petrol cubes, matches, skewers.
· Meat for souvlaki; (consider 1kg for 3 persons)
· Pitta, salt, pepper, olive oil, lemon, onion
· Salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, or any other green vegetables of preference)
· Tablecloth, tissues, paper cups and paper plates, cutlery, pots for storing salad and meat.
· Soft drinks
· For vegetarians: bring vegetables that can be grilled (Mushrooms, peppers etc.)
